Senior Accountant
Our growing accounting firm in Olney, MD needs to add another senior level accountant. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of public accounting experience in the audit AND tax areas. Tax expertise in business and personal returns required..
We are a medium sized firm with great clients. We currently employ 15 people including full time administrator and receptionist. Here's a short summary of the work that we do:
For profit audits - our largest client is $700mil in revenue, most of these clients fall in the $30mil - $100mil range.
Nonprofit audits - we do most of these in the late summer for the 6/30 year end - organizations range from $300k to $5mil.
Employee benefit plan audits - late summer - plans from 125 participants to several hundred or more
We do about 50 audits so we keep busy all year in that area.
We also have a busy tax season doing business returns for our audit clients as well as many other businesses. Contracting, real estate, retail and most industries. We need experience in multi state work plus contractor and real estate experience would be great.
Of course we do plenty of individual tax returns also. Mostly substantial individuals or owners of the businesses that we work for.
Candidate must have experience with Prosystem FX and Prosystem Engagement.
