for the Maryland Association of Nonprofits, Maryland
Association of CPAs, and DC Center for Nonprofit
Advancement among others.
We know what we are talking about. Harvey Metro
also spoke to a group of about 400 participants during
a national teleconference produced by Strafford
Publications (www.straffordpub.com) regarding SAS
104-111 and the impact on nonprofit organizations.
In March 2009, Harvey Metro testified at a Maryland
State Senate hearing in support of reducing the audit
burden on small nonprofits in Maryland. The new law
passed and became effective in June 2009.
